Day 1: Tangier

Day 2: Tangier – Larache – Meknes – Fes

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud

The time comes for the Atlas. Not far from Fes, we will cross Ifrane, a residential center, before reaching the cedar woods of the Middle Atlas. After crossing Midelt a surprising change of scenery awaits us: the road crosses the High Atlas and we will quickly enter the Great South. The land becomes arid, with spectacular geological formations and deep valleys, such as the Ziz Valley, huge green spots in the middle of the desert.

We will begin to observe adobe architecture, palm trees, and some distant Kasbahs, we are at the doors of the desert. We arrive in Erfoud where we will dine and spend the night in a hotel so in the morning we will soon be able to make a trip to Erg Chebbi desert to see the sunrise from the great dune and back to the hotel.

Day 5: Erfoud – Merzouga (Desert) – Valley of the Dades – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate
