Starting in Fez, you’ll head south through the Atlas Mountains, making stops along the way to explore the nature and culture of Morocco. In Azrou, you’ll have the opportunity to see wild monkeys in their natural habitat and capture the beauty of the region’s flora and fauna in your photos.
You’ll continue your journey through Berber villages and reach Merzouga, where you’ll experience the magic of the Sahara. You’ll ride camels to venture into the dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend a night under the stars in a Berber nomad camp, where you’ll enjoy authentic hospitality and local culture.
On the following day, you’ll return to Fez, carrying unforgettable memories of your adventure in the deserts and mountains of Morocco. This 2 days Tour from Fes to Merzouga will provide you with a unique experience in this beautiful country.
Day 1: Fez – Medilt - Azrou - Ziz Valley– Merzouga (Camel Ride and Night in the Desert)
After breakfast, we depart from Fez towards the Todra Gorge, passing through Ifrane, and we reach the forests of Azrou, where wild monkeys reside. It will be a great opportunity to take photos of Moroccan nature. We will have lunch in the Berber village of Zaida. Continuing through the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the landscape of Medilt, we will arrive at the small village of Rich and Erfoud, where we start to feel the Sahara air with the Tafilalet oasis. We will then continue to Merzouga, and after some relaxation, we will ride camels into the desert to spend a night there. We will spend the night in Berber nomad tents.
Day 2: Merzouga – Return to Fez
After breakfast, we will travel from the Dades Gorges to the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. We will see Berber villages and then return to Fez, this last day of our 2 days Tour from Fes to Merzouga.
