Five days from Tangier to the Sahara can work only if you accept a very compressed north-to-desert route. For a premium private trip, we would normally suggest more time.
A 6 or 7 day Tangier-to-Marrakech desert route gives space for Chefchaouen, Fes, the Sahara, and the Atlas without making every day a long transfer.
